Decorating for Fall

The vase with flowers I just found at a thrift store recently. I really liked the green scenery
on the side of it. They are old river boats along a river. Plus, I love the color green.
I know, I know it might be a bit early to start decorating for fall. But, what can I say. I have an itch to start decorating for the upcoming season. Actually, I'm thinking about Christmas, but thought that might be pushing it. In due time, I guess. So, I've started with the wreath at the front door, but it still needs more around the door. I love the mustard yellow colored feather at the bottom of the wreath. It's a vintage feather I have had for years. My plan is to finish up this week end, my husband is in charge of the front porch. It's a team project.
Inside I could not wait to start on the dining room table center piece. For years, I have collected ceramic pumpkins, acorns and other fall accessories. So, I decided to group them together in the middle of the table. I just found the acorn branches with leaves at a store near my work. There is something about the shape of the acorns that I just love.
This year I also would like to include out front some white pumpkins and I have seen some that are more blue green. Wanted to mix it up a little, instead of just orange pumpkins. I'll post finished pictures when we get the decorating done.
